Read the relationships
Labels describe constraints in the schema, assuming foreign keys are enforced. A parent’s minimum is shown as zero: requirements such as “every book must have a copy” usually need business rules beyond a foreign key. UML here is a class-style view of tables; behavior and inheritance cannot be recovered from the database.
